I re-watched "Jean-Claude Van Johnson" for the fourth time after some months and I can definitely confirm my first review, the series is solid and worth the 9/10 I gave to it, it just miss a cool villain to deserve a 10/10 for me but the whole show is really high quality in all aspects. So much nostalgia in it, it's clear the writer is a big JCVD fan. I really hope to see JC working again with Peter Atencio, he's such a good director. It's a real shame it got cancelled, I would have really loved to see a Timecop sci-fi season like the ending suggested but as always in JCVD career he go to the top of productions and then he goes down quickly and then try again, unfortunately I got used to it.

www.linkedin.com/pulse/jean-claude-vandamme-self-mockery-leadership-bram-doolaege/?published=tAbout Jean-Claude Vandamme, self-mockery and leadership. Bram Doolaege 23 September 2018 It’s 2018, 30 years later, and I just finished the first season of Jean-Claude Van Johnson. In this Prime action-comedy Jean-Claude Van Damme, the global martial arts & film sensation, also operates under the simple alias of "Johnson" as the world's best undercover private contractor. Next to the original plot the series did receive a lot of praise since our ‘muscles from Brussels’ makes a case for self-mockery. In one scene Van Damme tries to do a real-life split, he utterly fails and gets some serious beating while looking dazzled and confused. My lovely daughters, both teenagers, instantly fell in love with the show and with Jean-Claude. So, we’re planning a JCVD revival festival at home with old videos and some embarrassing attempts from my part getting to that perfect split. Anyhow, the popularity of Jean-Claude is back where it belongs, so I will consider my arching legs as a contribute to that.
