For what I know No JCVD film has been released in 4K so far worldwide. Many people say that the 4K format could become popular in a year or two in Europe/USA and I thought that I would like to start buying 4K discs with some JCVD film like "Bloodsport", "Kickboxer" or "Double Impact". The only thing that annoys me is that I should change TV, from Full HD to 4K resolution.

The DVD is still more popular right now (The Bouncer doesn't have a US Blu-ray), but 5 years from now there might be 4K Van Damme films. The 4K television market share increased as prices fell dramatically during 2014 and 2015. By 2020, more than half of U.S. households are expected to have 4K-capable TVs, a much faster adoption rate than that of Full HD (1080p). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4K_resolution

No, "The Bouncer" doesn't have a US blu-ray because as usual Americans underestimate the European productions. it's not about disc popularity. (Both France and Germany got the blu-ray).
You're right about the fact that people still buy more dvds than Blu-rays, so maybe a new strong upgrading in resolution quality could definitely push away the dvd market.
What we absolutely need is a new legislation about distribution rights because the blu-ray market failed to redistribute many old films due to legal and copyrights issues, the majors refuse to sell the distribution rights of their old films that little studios would like to redistribute worldwide.
