Great shape! I think that's an official confirmation for "The Tower", I follow JC since childhood and JC trained so hard only when martial arts were involved in the role, this shape is on the level of "The Quest" days, bulked but ripped to move fast.

I think it's in early stage, pre-production and official announcement should be online this Summer with production start this September. At least that's my impression about it, I don't have any source but when the lead actor is training that hard then you can expect his work to start within 4 or 6 months. |

I think we should wait until 4th of July. By then it will be on his imdb site. Is he still going to do kill'em all 2 with Peter Malota? Maybe that his next movie after The Tower.

Invited to a show on the channel "Canal +", the famous actor and karateka "Jean-Claude Van Damme", made revelations about his jubilee.
The actor who plans to end his career promises before that, produce a last film in tribute to the legend of karate movies "Bruce Lee". The film, according to him, will be called "The Tower" which will start at a bar in Thailand to finish in Las Vegas.
"This will be my last martial arts film. And it will be dedicated to my brother Bruce Lee. It will be according to Van Damme a very complex film, but not at all complex. The actor of Belgian origin spoke during his passage in the capsule "La Bote Questions" on "Canal +".

the film should have seen the light 15 years ago ... Do you think he is too old for this role now? That was my first thought. Someone his age fighting someone his son's age will look ridiculous. |

Claude Goetz posted last month that the training goes til 2020. i can not see The Tower happening this year, i hope that it will happen next year. but I have my doubts, that The Tower will happen JC is trying to make this movie since more as 10 years ago and all announced martial arts movie projects from van damme got cancelled the list is long. |

I think there are still some chances that production starts this fall, the problem is that the project should already have a director and some cast actors attached right now, so, for now, the project is not happening but everything can change very quickly. |

Unless JC gets other offers I think the plan is that and I think that the film could be filmed in Belgium/France with a local crew. |
