Translation: Jean Claude Vandamme gets star on Walk of Fame during the Ostend Film Festival
09/09/18 at 20:47 - Updated at 20:46
An important person visited the Ostend Film Festival on Sunday. None other than 'The Muscles from Brussels' was the guest of honor because of his latest film 'Lukas'. The entire Belgian press seemed to have come together in Ostend for the visit.

Translation:
Jean Claude Vandamme came with his family to Oostende to reveal his star on the Zeedijk.
Under a bright sun and with a lot of people, Vandamme was very happy.

JC said during the interview that Lukas didn't do well in French cinemas but got a great critics reception and he hopes the film will have legs worldwide. Honestly I don't understand what kind of numbers they were expecting from just 162 cinemas, I refuse to consider it a flop. It did well for such a limited release.

JCVD shouldn't have mentioned that it wasn't well received in France, but that just him, saying what's on his mind. I wonder if the press got to ask any questions or if JCVD did all the talking. LOL JCVD spoke a little Dutch and Italian. He said that he only speaks a little Dutch so he couldn't speech in Dutch. His dad was totally not happy about having the microphone shoved in his face. "I'm 88 years old I can't speech." LMAO

He is guest of honor at the Ostend Film Festival where he will promote the film 'Lukas'. 'Lukas' is a French action thriller and is about Lukas, played by Jean-Claude Van Damme, who has to infiltrate a dangerous Dutch organization.
