JCVD: "He fascinates me."
In an interview with Europe 1 this Sunday morning, Jean-Claude Van Damme said that Gerard Depardieu is "his favorite actor in France". At 57, he is playing Lukas - the movie will be release this Wednesday - even dreams of playing with the comedian whom he describes as "movie monster".
"I'd like to make a film with Depardieu, oh yes, he fascinates me, he's a movie monster, he can do anything (...) I think he's hiding, in a sense, behind a good dialogue, he has worked a lot on his dialogue, and the dialogue is so generous that, finally, the face follows," explains JCVD.
For him, this duet with Gérard Depardieu on the screen would be made on one condition: "it is really there, something that he likes, where he would put his heart in." And to conclude: "There are other actors, but it's my favorite actor in France."
