So, what I expect from the pics and stuff we've seen so far:
- Looks like Fabricio Werdum's character will be the GSP-type of character in this one. Fabricio had a small role in VENGEANCE, but it looks like here that he will go and help with Durand to train Kurt. - I expect to be revelaed that Lambert's character is the main guy that organized all those illeagal fights. And Gina Carano's character was working for him.
- I don't know which will be the final fight scene though ... ? Kurt vs "The Mountain" or JCVD vs. Lambert? "The Mountain" is definitelly the Tong Po-type of villain for this movie, but seems like Lambert's will be the one who is doing all the stuff behind closed doors.

Alain vs Björnsson is the final fight for sure. I think JCVD will have the same amount of fights and screen time of Kickboxer Vengeance which was good, JC wasn't under-used at all. The formula should be the same without the training scenes I guess. By the ending part we should get if JC is going to return for the final film or not. I'm curious about Dimitri Logothetis directing, probably less stylish but more effective.

Testudo86 Hm .. Do you know how I think things will go on for the final fight? Fight: Alain vs Björnsson. They fight. JCVD, Lambert, etc. are all in the crowd/audience. And by the end that it seems Björnsson is losing, Lambert is going to disappear. JCVD takes notice and he goes and follows him. Alain wins, but he is so beat up from his fight, and he ask Malakul Lane's character: "Where's Durand?", and the scene switch to that moment JCVD face to face with Lambert for the final fight. That's my speculation. Because if JCVD vs Lambert is before that, and Lambert lose and dies, I don't see Björnsson's character being a person who will continue to fight without his boss. Just reminds me of the movie Kickboxer 2 movie, where Sasha Mitchell defeated Tong Po, but Tagawa wasn't OK with it, so he went and point a gun at Mitchell, or something like that.

www.imdb.com/title/tt5208950/plotsummary?ref_=tt_ov_plOne year after the events of "Kickboxer: Vengeance", Kurt Sloan has vowed never to return to Thailand. However, while gearing up for a MMA title shot, he finds himself sedated and forced back into Thailand, this time in prison. He is there because the ones responsible want him to face a 6'8" 400 lbs. beast named Mongkut and in return for the fight, Kurt will get two million dollars and his freedom back. Kurt at first refuses, in which a bounty is placed on his head as a way to force him to face Mongkut. Kurt soon learns he will have no other choice and will undergo his most rigorous training yet under some unexpected mentors in order to face Mongkut in hopes to regain his freedom. You know I'm not a fan of sequels, so I haven't given it much thought. Well, I guess one of the 'unexpected mentors' is going to be Mike Tyson and JCVD will be Mater Durant with a disability. At first I thought Durant would be blind, but he doesn't look blind in the final fight scene, so I don't know what his disability is. And you already mentioned that Fabricio Werdum is going to help with the training. Obviously Lambert is the bad guy and the final fight is going to be Kurt vs Mongkut (The Mountain).
