They're two of Hollywood's most famed action heroes with a string of cult classics to their names.
And musclemen Mickey Rourke, 64, and Jean Claude Van Damme, 56, showed no signs of slowing down after enjoying a gruelling workout together in California, on Sunday.
Mickey, who enjoyed a major career resurgence following his award winning film The Wrestler, chatted intently with his buff personal trainer as they left the famous Gold's Gym.
Wrapping his tattooed frame in a tight fitting hoodie showcasing his muscular chest, Mickey sported a pair of oversized shades and a headband which pushed his salt and pepper locks backwards.
Adding a pair of very tight fitting base-layer shorts which left little to the imagination, the Eighties heartthrob added a streak of white throughout with matching headphones, gym gloves and trainers.
Kickboxer star Jean Claude, who had clearly worked up a sweat at the famous Venice Beach gym, waited until he was outside before whipping off him shirt to reveal his still impressive midsection.
Sporting a pair of rectangle framed sunglasses and not much else, the martial artist turned actor looked in fine fettle for a man approaching 60.
Jean Claude, who made his name in the late Eighties and Nineties with a catalogue of high kicking flicks including Blood Sports and Double Impact, showcased his bulging biceps and pert pectorals while cooling off from his session.
Jean Claude also enjoyed a career reassurance of late taking leading roles in blockbuster Expendables franchise as well as his own satirical flick JCVD.
Once famed for his pretty boy looks, Mickey left Hollywood to pursue a career in boxing in the Nineties.
Despite racking up a respectable six wins, two draws and no losses, the star was accused of fighting unsuitable opponents and never made it to a signifcantly high level.
