Action film with a touch of comedy, the JC film more close to a project of Jackie Chan has ever made. One of the last theatrical JCVD films, not well received in the 90s but today's it would have been called a great film by most action fans. I miss these JC films with such great locations.

Last night I rewatched "Knock Off" on dvd, I think it's been 4 or 5 years since I last saw it and I still think it's a solid 8/10 film with a pleasant humor, nice directing and good action. It's really a pity that it flopped in cinemas, it deserved better reception. A lot of critics called the story "confusing", honestly I don't know what film they watched, even a 12 year old would be able to follow the plot of this film.

JCVD does a funny voice. JCVD: "Hi, I'm Rob Schneider from New York."

I've just ordered a boxset with this movie and Hard Target. Thank goodness for boxsets because I'm seriously running out of space on my DVD shelves. This will be my 38th (I think) JCVD movie on DVD

I just got Knock Off today. The ending feels very much like Enemies Closer

Huh? Not sure what you mean by similar ending to EC, but did you like Knock Off?

I wish that the original version was released. Sammo Hung's fight choreography was horribly butchered by the U.S. editing department.
