John , I had Dinner plus an event with JC in March .. in this forum youll find Australia stories .. mine is in here .. from 9am thru to 1am , leading up to Jc's event and dinner .. On Frenchy , he wanted to do a Premier in Australia but didnt say what movie , he spoke about lots of stuff , all i know Frenchy is due .. i knew it was still in the works , he does want it out on dvd , cause i doubt the premiere will happen cause of covid , i know the 3 coyotes is due as well ,he spoke about it in Feb b4 he came to Oz ..

There is no hope for this year then that the film will be released? From what seems to be no movement for it to be released this year. Hopefully at the beginning of next year at the latest. |

Since there is no upcoming JCVD movie other than a voice role for 2022, I would say there is no better time to finally release "The Eagle Path/Frenchy", I'm sure it's a film worth seeing despite all the additional cuts and scenes it has received. Amazon bought the rights to stream some Paramount films for many millions of dollars this year, I don't see why they shouldn't consider buying this film which would cost no more than its production costs (about 10 million usd), "The Last Mercenary" was a success for Netflix, TEP would be for Amazon if only they wanted it, so fingers crossed for 2022.

That interview has some interesting information in it. Ross Clarkson saw JCVD a couple of weeks ago and JCVD says he still plans to release the movie.
Ross Clarkson says if JCVD doesn't use the confusing ending (making people conscious of how we can save the earth) the movie would be done.
There is new stuff filmed with Bianca, which seems odd.

Well, I guess an ending scene set "in the future" with her character being older. That's the most logical think I can think of.
