Trailer: Jean-Claude Van Damme’s ‘Full Love’
by Daniel Baldwin June 13, 2017
Nine years after its initial shoot, Full Love is finally arriving. Today action superstar Jean-Claude Van Damme unleashed a teaser trailer for the long-delayed film. It’s an odd;y edited teaser that doesn’t really give much in the way of plot, but I’m willing to give the film itself a look when it finally hits later this year. Why? Because Van Damme, that’s why!
This film has had a long road to release. Originally shot in 2008 under the title Soldiers, Van Damme’s sophomore film as a director has gone through a number of small reshoots in the years since then. It even screened at Cannes once in 2010, under the title The Eagle Path! Now, after almost a decade, it appears that Full Love might finally be finished. Given that Van Damme’s only other directorial effort is 1996’s The Quest, a film that I find to be underrated among his overall body of work.
Full Love is the latest directorial effort from Jean-Claude Van Damme, who also wrote the screenplay. The picture is produced by Eugene Van Varenberg, Moshe Diamant, and Jean-Claude Van Damme. The film stars Jean-Claude Van Damme, Claudia Bassols, John Colton, Joset Cannon, Charles St. Michael, Bianca Bree, Cal Rein, Kristopher Van Varenberg, Adam Karst, and Harry Taylor.

I thought I was done with this film but I admit I had a jump watching this new teaser that actually is more a trailer and a good one. Maybe the wait is really over and I'm pretty excited, an autumn release would be a good gift for us fans.

More news items about the trailer:Jean-Claude Van Damme’s FULL LOVE Finally Gets A Trailer The lost gem emerges. By Evan Saathoff •Jun. 14, 2017
I’ve always held out hope that it would see the light of day, but that doesn’t make the trailer’s release any less exciting. The film has played some festivals (including Cannes in 2010!), but any reactions to it will be moot now, as Van Damme has apparently reshot a lot of it. There are mentions in those reactions of artsy elements that I hope are still in the film, but who knows.
For JCVD fans, this is something of a Holy Grail. Even if the film doesn’t end up being very good, it is still a passion project Van Damme directed, wrote, starred in, funded much of out of his own pocket and worked on for many years. With all that, the quality of the thing is almost beside the point. Though, how great would it be if Full Love emerges victorious?
At this point, all we really know is that the film is "Coming Soon". Hopefully, that "soon" is for real.Read more here: birthmoviesdeath.com/2017/06/14/jean-claude-van-dammes-full-love-finally-gets-a-trailer ================================================================================= JCVD’s Latest, Full Love, is Almost a Decade in the Making (Trailer) By Zach June 14, 2017 www.everythingaction.com/2017/06/14/jcvds-latest-full-love-almost-decade-making-trailer/?utm_campaign=twitter&utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitter Filmed back in 2008 and originally going by the titles Soldiers or The Eagle Path, JCVD’s Full Love may finally arrive this year. The second film written, directed and starring Van Damme, he plays a former mercenary named Frenchy who is dealing with the trauma of his childhood and military career while protecting a woman from a criminal organization. The movie was shown at Cannes in 2010 as The Eagle Path but there were reshoots and editing in 2012 and that resulted in this new version that is now titled Full Love. We haven’t seen a JCVD directed movie since The Quest and this is obviously something he’s extremely passionate about, given that it’s almost a decade in the making and hopefully we’ll see it this year. There’s no release date yet but there is a trailer you can check out below.

Wednesday, June 14, 2017 action-flix.com/action-flix-home-page/at-last-jcvd-s-long-awaited-action-thriller-full-love-gets-a-new-trailer At Last! JCVD's Long Awaited Action-Thriller "Full Love" Gets a New Trailer!
Well here's a day that I thought would never come. Action star Jean-Claude Van Damme has just released a new teaser trailer for his long shelved action-thriller Full Love. The film was made almost a decade ago but problems with critic reception and distribution forced Van Damme to go to the cutting room and reshape the film. Yesterday, The Muscles from Brussels released a brand new trailer for the movie and announced that more release date news is on the way!
Van Damme made the out of the blue announcement on his official Facebook saying "Hi friends, you had to wait a long time for it, but it will be worth the wait." Van Damme told all his fans. "I proudly present you the teaser for 'Full Love'. Soon there will be more updates about the release. Enjoy! #JCVD #FullLove"
There is no other word on when we will get more info on the delayed film but as soon as we do, you can see it here!

Thursday, June 15, 2017 Posted by Brent McKnight Jean-Claude Van Damme's 'Full Love' Is Finally Coming Out And There's A Trailer To Prove It
This has become a kind of myth for Van Damme-a-philes; their great white whale. Shot almost a decade ago, it bounced around playing festivals, including at Cannes in 2010, but was never fully released. At least until now.
Apparently much of Full Love has been reshot and tinkered with over the years, but the exciting part is that it’s pure, unadulterated JCVD. He wrote, directed, stars in, and apparently financed much of it out of his own pocket. This is a passion project, a glimpse into his psyche over a period of years. Hell, even if it sucks, this should make for a fascinating watch.
What does "Coming Soon" mean? I have no idea, but I hope it actually means soon in a dictionary definition way.Read more here: www.thelastthingisee.com/2017/06/jean-claude-van-dammes-full-love-is.html
