There is plenty of variety and sure, Van Damme still has some moves, but it's all extremely poorly shot and put together in the editing room. It all really lacks excitement and true creativity. It's nothing that you haven't seen before and it most certainly isn't going to blow you away neither.
Just not worth your time. Not even if you are really into B-action and/or Van Damme in general. 4/10

Kill ’em All (2017) Review Posted on August 4, 2017 by Kyle Warner The film is obviously working on a small budget. I don’t hold that against it, but nor do I think that’s reason enough to forgive its many shortcomings. It’s an above average cast for a direct-to-DVD feature but they’re largely wasted on a horrible script and awful pacing. Waste of a cool title.
Kyle Warner’s Rating: 3/10Read more here: cityonfire.com/kill-em-all-2017-review-them-jean-claude-van-damme/

Kill 'em All - 7/10 (German blu-ray - Italian audio included!!!)
The second watch on high definition and Italian dubbing has been way better than expected. I admit that the first time I watched it on youtube in sd my rating was more close to a 5/10 than the 6/10 I gave to it.
I still prefer "Pound of Flesh" as an action thriller and it's not near as good as "Kickboxer Vengeance" but this time I liked the story and overall the action looked kinda good in hd and on big tv. I confirm that Autumn Reeser was the best part of the film regarding acting scenes, JC just played a silent hitman, his injured mode was also less annoying than I remembered.
Fight scenes were average but this time I found them to be more fast and less slow. Daniel Bernhardt did a good job but acting wise his role was wasted. To me, Peter Malota tried to make a good camera work forgetting to explore the characters. Stormare and Alonso did the story work but they weren't part active of the story, so the situation looked like a post-talking and this way they wasted the tension factor.
Overall I liked it and I find most negative reviews to be inaccurate. I think too many people like comparing too much. I don't compare every JC film to "Timecop" or recent great works like "Kickboxer Vengeance". I take it as a stand alone. I'm impatiently waiting "Kickboxer Retaliation" but I can still sit and watch this decent film without expecting that JC must make only high profile projects.
When you are not a theatrical star anymore you must choice if make one good film per year or accept to make also one or two decent films that could turn very good or very bad but most likely they just going to be average. We, as fans, must stop to judge a career every new film added, you can judge him in 5 years of work, trying to be positive without exaggerating small defects and without blaming JC for production mistakes.
German blu-ray was really good and well fixed, just lacks of extras. When Italy will get the disc release I won't buy it because I'm satisfied with this version with the Italian audio included.

Glad you liked it more the second time around! Right mate, very good day for me. I also didn't remember that the last scenes leaves open a door for a sequel, a JC vs Stormare film wouldn't be a so bad idea to me.

Indeed. Would love a sequel. Too bad that talks have died down. And I guess if it happens at all, it won't be this year. RIZK will most likely shoot this year.

I trust in JC, if he think the new project is good we go for it. Also "Black Water" could be potentially a little action franchise. JC-Dolph collaborations always delivers.

Amen, brother! Would really love to see more JCVD-Dolph collaborations. They are always fun to watch together, and on the same side.

‘Kill ‘Em All’ DVD Reviewwww.nerdly.co.uk/2018/02/08/kill-em-all-dvd-review/... A decent direct-to-DVD outing for Jean-Claude Van Damme, Kill ‘Em All is actually the perfect vehicle for an ageing action star like JCVD – he gets to show off his skills, both acting and action, and showcase his friends and family in a film that adds plot where once there would have been none. Definitely a must-see for Van Damme fans!
