My DVD collection has grown to the point where I have no space left on the three shelves. I collect only certain things and fortunately a few of them are complete, but my tendency to buy random movies too, has made space a little hard to come by. So thank goodness for boxsets. I have 37 Jean Claude van Damme movies and this is set to grow by 2 in the next month or so. Thank goodness its a boxset because there is no space for 3 new ones.

haha space is always a problem when you collect things, I think we can all relate to that. Here is my JCVD movie collection; I still don't have LUKAS a.k.a. THE BOUNCER.

Box sets (and to some extent Blu-ray's) are a great way to condense space. A few years ago, I got a 10 movie set (that's the size of 3 cases) and got rid of the 10 separate DVDs.
Something that helps as well (depending on the size of your collection) is to not separate every little thing. I, for instance, just have all my JCVD films between the action films whereas before they were separated which required a separate spot.
Believe I have around 50 JCVD films now.

You should never start a physical film collection if you don't have space for at least 500 films or you will run out of space after collecting the filmography of only 4 or 5 actors. I also currently have this problem but I started to notice it when I got to 900 copies.

My god, that is a beautiful collection!!!!! I used to have quite a few on dvd, but have purchased most on youtube now and don't have many on DVD anymore. But I know what you mean with room. I collect comics and have TONS..... I have stopped now because I just don't have the room anymore for them......

For physical media it does depend a little on how one collects, but in general be sure to indeed have enough space, since you can easily get carried away. I still don't have LUKAS a.k.a. THE BOUNCER Don't know if you specifically want a Dutch subtitled release, but there is (a rather hard to find) DVD.

Don't know if you specifically want a Dutch subtitled release, but there is (a rather hard to find) DVD. I've been waiting for a Dutch release because all my DVD's are Dutch releases, but I am starting to wonder if that will ever happen. Swelter took 2 years to get a Dutch release, Lukas was released in 2018, so it has been 4 years already. It's so weird that this one did not get a Dutch release. If I do decide to buy a non Dutch release I would prefer to have Dutch subtitles, but it's not a necessity.

The Belgium French release has Dutch subtitles, and (I believe, it's been a while since I watched it) it features the French/longer cut of the film. It's in stock here alternativly you can look up the EAN on different places.

My bad, I forgot Amazon doesn't list them on the page. The EAN is however listed on the back picture on Amazon, which is '5420068904600'. The EAN you listed above is also for the French release, but I don't know if that also has Dutch subtitles. The French Belgium release (that I own) also has a Dutch language cover and a French one.
