Any news on The Tower yet? No, probably JC is preparing its projects for 2020. "The Tower" is just one of the ideas on the table.

Unfortunately, Jean-Claude van Damme's movie career is over. His last chance will be this movie. If he would direct it, then this will end like 'Frenchy'. He probably should hire Sheldon Lettich or somebody he already worked with. He also needs goods actors (Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino, Forest Whitaker, Jeff Bridges, Kevin Costner, Nicolas Cage) and on-screen-fighters (Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, Tiger Chen, David Belle, Tim Man, Andy Nguyen Long, Mike Moeller, Donnie Yen, Chloe Bruce, Marko Zaror, Jon Foo, Cyril Raffaelli, Michael Jai White, Mark Dacascos, Daniel Bernhardt) or others from his former movies (Bolo Yeung).

Unfortunately, Jean-Claude van Damme's movie career is over. His last chance will be this movie. No, he just took a break from acting. I don't buy the JC talk "I will do 3 or 4 movies and that's all" of the last months. He is still too young and has a too expensive life (he travels a lot) to afford to live without working. Stallone, Cage, Seagal etc they all said to be close to retire but it never happened. What could happen is that he'll chose to work more in Europe than in America to stay close to his old parents and I would not be surprised if "The Tower" will be filmed in France/Belgium, like "Lukas".

The Tower will film next year. Around March. Just gotta wait few more days until there news. I wish Al Pacino in it as a coach. He was a coach in Any Given Sunday. Why not The Tower. That would a good role for Pacino. What you guys think about that?

JC's travelling is financed by the investors and guys who invite him to the country. To work in Europe and to make better movies he has to deliver. Like he said, 'The Tower' has been in works for over 17 years. That's almost the same time we're waiting for 'Frenchy'. It wouldn't be a suprise, if the movie will be pushed back to 'unknown date'. Let's see..

Let's see.. No, I'm not talking about business travel. Let's be clear, JC lives in Hong Kong in a rich area, his parents live in Belgium, his wife and children in the United States. So, he travels around the world all the time and has a private jet. He and his family live in expensive areas with a very high standard of living. JC has a very expensive life that requires a lot of money, so he will work for many more years, no doubt about it.
