OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
"Jean-Claude Van Damme has just completed work on movie's WE DIE YOUNG & THE BOUNCER, with FULL LOVE in Post-Production & DOUBLE X2 ACTION & THREE COYOTES in Development. Jean-Claude has commitments to these projects ONLY and nothing outside of the these mentioned! Be careful what you read."

He says has commitments to these projects ONLY and they are in development. So "Lionheart 2" and "The Quest 2" projects are cancelled and it seems he isn't in talks for playing in "Kickboxer Armageddon". It seems JC goes in the co-production way of signing on projects, I think even "We Die Young" and "The Bouncer" have JC as one of the producers. We can't read the plots of the these new two projects but the distributors/agents interested can read them in the Distribution zone.
What can I say, I didn't expect this, you know I prefer martial arts films but "Three Coyotes" and "Double Action" sounds interesting. I'm neutral until we will get more infos. My hope is that "Double Action" will be a project similar to "Van Johnson".

I agree, "Double Action" has way more chances to find producers interested but I think JC will be willing to finance almost entirely the film to see all his kids playing main roles in "Three Coyotes", If some producers will offer to rent beautiful desert locations in Southwest America then it will be an instant deal for JC. |
