You’ll only end up here if you receive the mysterious invitation or are willing to bang one of those old Chinese dudes like Leah Ayres. Hong Kong in 1975 had very strict rules against outsiders so if you’re reading this outside of the city then you’ll most likely not have been invited. Lucky for you, I’m a compulsive gambler and have taken the time to compile a list of odds and breakdowns of each fighter. Let the shirtless brawling begin!!

I miss that cover! it's the official one. It was the cover of the vhs version in Italy, I grew up watching that cover, then it changed for the dvd version (still good) and it changed again for the blu-ray version (I don't like it). I hope this fantastic cover will come back in the future for all versions.

I re-watched this movie and it was Funnier than I remembered. I would not call it an Action Comedy but this movie has lot of funny moments. The friendship between Frank Dux and Ray Jackson is so cute. The acting isn't always the best, but the cast just fits together so well you forgive them. There isn't much of a story-line except for Dux wanting to participate in this tournament against the will of his superiors, no twist and turns. Even if you don't like movies about fighting, I think there is enough to enjoy, like the funny chase scene which does look like a Mentos Commercial.  My original rating was 8.5/10, now I would say 8/10. |
