I wonder if the rumors about it being released in France/Belgium cinemas already this summer are realistic, it would be cool to see the film already this year but I don't want a rushed post-production that could ruin the final cut. I asked Océan Films Distribution on Facebook: "Is it true that the official release date for The Bouncer is August 22, 2018?" Will let you know if I get an answer. |

If they are going to do a tour in French suburbs and province that's definitely means the film was filmed in French language. This doesn't matter for most of Europe because it'll be dubbed but probably in Anglophone countries it will be just selled with subtitles and usually it doesn't help to get a wide release there unless critics will praise it.

Hopefully! I don't remember much about the release of "J.C.V.D." but I think it was supposed to get a wide release in America due great critics reviews but at the end it turned out as limited release in few cinemas for some reason. Hopefully "Lukas" will have more luck.

The movie is (partly?) in English! There are two possibilities 1 The film was filmed in French and then dubbed in English and the last scenes shows JC in the work of dubbing it. 2 The film was filmed in English and JC was there to do his ADR work. The good news is that the Anglos should get the film in English language (original or dubbed) that's good for worldwide recognization. |

It doesn't look dubbed. I think the movie is in French for the biggest part but that some of it is in English. I think Lukas speaks English when he talks to Trabelsi from Interpol.
Trabelsi, Interpol, comes to visit Lukas in prison with an offer: the incident could be ignored, Lukas could even keep the custody of his daughter. All this, in exchange for one service: come and work for Interpol to trap the chief of a Dutch gang operating from Belgium.
