I think your guys are right. The Expendables 4 will not get made. The Expendables: A Christmas Story to be out in 2021, a year before The Expendables 4. What happen to that movie? It still not made and it’s almost 2022 if you look at it. It’s almost August 1st 2021.

Yeah, I'm also past the Expendables hype/era. At the end it was a mediocre trilogy, as in just the stars we grew up being like on a Con with them saying their lines, etc...

I think every few days there will be news on his new movie. I think by Labor Day he will film a new movie. I maybe wrong. That in like 30 days from now. Thanks for the update.

Another in the genre of Die Hard, which is great. Maybe Van Damme doing a remake of Die Hard. That no one know about. If he doing 4 projects that will take like 2 years to do all of it.

I think they are just project where he is considered, the actors get a lot of scripts but it doesn't mean they will be part of them. The Netflix movie is linked to the success of "The Last Mercenary", obviously they won't wait for a new movie to be created by writers but they will pass to JC the material they have ready to be produced. The Die Hard-like project is probably one of the three DTV projects he told us about recently. |

I'm sure the success of "The Last Mercenary" will change the list of new projects a bit, I wouldn't be surprised if Millennium offers a role to JC in "The Expendables 4", EX2 was the most bankable movie in the franchise and as we see JC is still very popular ten years later.
Anyway I wonder what that LA project could be for Netflix, I checked if "Cobra Kai" is shot there but it seems to be mostly shot in Atlanta, Georgia and a little bit in Los Angeles, California. Could this be the project? It would be great if JC was the villain of season 5 as there are hardly any villains left in the franchise.

JCVD in a live video on Instagram said that he is expected to star in a couple of movies in the coming months, an action movie and a film for Netflix. I'm not sure in what status these productions are but as I thought "Headlock" is no longer on the table, too complicated at this point in his career, already finding the right cast for that film would be a nightmare.

Nice that the Netflix movie seems like a go.
I really do hope that it is something big. And I would even go crazy if it ends up being Beverly Hills Cop 4 which Netflix will film soon. And considering who the directors are...
I wouldn't mind a The Last Mercenary 2, but I doubt it is, because I don't see them writing a script so fast.
So definitely it is something else.
