Many today's American productions are becoming "fast-work" as the Asian productions. In Asia many films are filmed in one month since 20 years but overseas 5 weeks were the standard, new technology helps a lot but this way some scenes are being executed by the co-director and assistants because the official director can't shoot all the scenes contemporarily.

And yeah, 4 weeks (30 days) for a submarine-based movie seems about right.

12+ hours doing something I love. And am moderately okay at. Great set, great experience, and still have a couple more days on set. Now for about 5 hours sleep.
