265 now. Still 35 copies to buy. I still think we should reach the goal but we are so damn slow that it hurt me and I feel bad regarding the current situation of home video industry, we are struggling to get 300 pre-orders in a country of 60 million people... maybe there is not much promotion but anyway I think some thousand of people got the info but still don't want buy the blu-ray and we are talking about a 14.99 euro pre-order including shipping, imagine if it was a 30 euro special edition blu-ray with shipping excluded we would have got 100 pre-orders at best... This is an old movie which they might already have on video and DVD, so maybe they don't need it on Blu-ray. Or maybe they don't have a Blu-ray player like me. The store where I buy my DVD's usually has 2 DVD's and 1 Blu-ray, so I guess that means that DVD's are still more popular in my country.

A blu-ray player cost 60 euro on Amazon and all the dvds works on the blu-ray, people buy 4K TVs these days that cost 500 euro. It's just the laziness and the diffused streaming illegality that create these ridiculous situations, the Timecop blu-ray is cheap and you just have to create an account and buy via Paypal. JC's fanbase already showed how lazy they are in the recent "Lukas" theatrical release in France, then if JC announce that he will make just another 4 or 5 films and then retire they will crying like babies but with bad sales this is exactly what will happen. People are damn hypocrites.

Today CG announced that will print just 500 blu-ray copies of Timecop. So it's a ultra limited release! very rare stuff. They already sold 350 copies in pre-order and soon they will put the other copies for sale on the site but without your name on the blu-ray.
I can't wait to receive my copy!

Timecop was on TV last night at a decent hour (20:29 - 22:31 hours), so I watched it. I still love this movie as much as the first time I watched it. 9/10
I love the opening scene and the whole idea of going back in time to make money. JCVD was awesome and the cast was good, except for the guys who were after him, they seemed to have stepped out of the movie Cyborg.
I thought it wasn't a good idea to have agent Walker hide behind very explosive stuff while they were shooting at him. What I really disliked was what happened when the bad guy and his younger self melted together, that looked awful.
Anyway great movie and good action that still holds up after all these years.

When I receive my blu-ray copy I'll re-watch it and I will post a new full review of it here. It's a great film anyway but I'm really curious to watch the futuristic visuals of a hd version cause the dvd had particular effects and contrasts.

I received my copy and I think it's the best edition for a JCVD film in Italy so far. Full slip and a special card with the clock and JC. It's limited to just 500 copies but I heard that maybe in January they will release a non-limited dvd and blu-ray version (I guess without full slip and special card). I just watched 10 minutes to ckeck if it works and I was really impressed by the quality of visuals compared to the old dvd. I wanted to watch the entire film tonight but my mom is sick, so I have to look at her. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have time to watch it.

Timecop - 10/10 (Limited edition blu-ray)
It's always a pleasure watching this masterpiece. This new blu-ray edition is finally giving justice to "Timecop". i think this film is ready to enter in my TOP10 JCVD films. I loved watching it in HD and I finally got how great Peter Hyams's directing was in the dark scenes. People always talks about the great Sci-Fi story but I have to say that before of everything this film has a terrific quality of acting, the "physical actor" (as the haters call JC) gave to the audience an awesome acting performance, this is what really remains after the viewing, the empathy towards Max Walker and his stunning wife.
It has its defects, especially regarding the special effects that were passable but not on the level a Sci-Fi film would require but we are talking about a 1994 production without a massive budget. Overall it's a great film that all JCVD fans should watching at least once a year, not because of action scenes (which were really good anyway) but for the story and acting that bring this film to the Top list of Sci-Fi films of all times.
